Kramer ShinesGoalkeeper Zack Kramer kept the Trojans close before halftime, making several key saves as the Trojans drop to 0 - 2 in the section with a 0-6 loss to Ligonier valley. Members of the school board voted by a 6-2 margin on Tuesday to provide a blended instructional model, in which all K-12 students have the choice to attend school five days a week in a brick-and-mortar setting, or choose to participate full time in the district’s online program. The Derry Trojan Golf Team completed the season sweep of the Ligonier Valley Rams with a 214-219 home course victory to remain unbeaten in WPIAL Section 2 AA.
Ryan Bushey, Hunter Jurica, Ashton Beighley, and Bryce Baum all carded 42, and Nick Thomas a 46 as the Trojans held on for the win. DA remains at the top of the section and will head to Mt. Odin to take on GCC Wednesday afternoon. DA won the first contest 216-226 at the Latrobe Elks. 2. Tennis Falls
The Derry Area Girls Tennis Team lost a Section Match to the Valley Vikings by a score of 4-1. Earning the lone victory for the Trojans was Allison Johnston and Danielle Dominick; at First Doubles, with a 6-2, 6-2
